Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up, Celebrate Everything and Jingle Jingle Jingle!
Oops…just realized this never posted on my blog, so I’m posting it now on Dec. 31. Hopefully you’ll enjoy my designs and save on Pinterest, etc. as ideas for next year since I missed the boat earlier! Sorry!
The silver/gold foil papers in the ornament card were only available during the January – March Saleabration, but I bet a lot of you crafters got at least one pack for free and haven’t used it all yet…so here’s an idea! Otherwise you can substitute whatever DSP you have and use this layout with embossed Spruced Up ornaments.
Such an easy card to make, but the beautiful Snowflake Specialty paper, Iridescent Trim and a few embellishments really step up a simply stamped card!

Stampin’ Up!’s Snow Crystal stamp looks lovely embossed with white on white cardstock that you color with blending brushes. Love this color combo of Fresh Freesia and Pool Party! Initially I hoped the Stampin’ Seal wouldn’t show through the vellum, but it does, sadly. I’d recommend STRATEGICALLY using liquid glue on various spots that will be hidden instead. I just didn’t want to use my supplies to make another card before I have my class…I want to make sure everyone has a chance to make this fun fold. Wish you could feel the velvety texture from the Snowflake Specialty Vellum and Snowy White Velvet paper. Fun!

Fussy cutting the Charming Landscapes mountains after texture embossing allows you to add a pretty patterned sky behind the mountains. I embossed a Pool Party strip with the bottom of the Charming Landscapes village folder. The tree was diecut with Spruced Up dies out of silver foil and from Shaded Spruce which was then embossed with the Painted Texture folder, then decked out with Iridescent Trim and silver embellishments from the Festive Pearls pack.

Fussy cutting the Charming Landscapes village after texture embossing allows you to add a pretty patterned sky (made from a sheet out of the “Celebrate Everything” Hostess pack) behind the village. The diecut candy cane wasn’t really essential, but fun…from the Spruced Up dies. Adding Iridescent Trim for the snowline, some Wink of Stella and Polished Pink markers for the houses, plus a few embellishments completed the look I was going for!

The black/white trees from the Celebrate Everything Hostess pack of DSP are EASY to color with Stampin’ Blends! Repeating the panels from the card front on the inside of a horizontal gatefold pulls the card together…especially when the panels are on reverse sides, I think. You could certainly create this card with any color cardstock and coordinating blends. (I chose pink because I loved the little pink starry strip from the Celebrate Everything DSP.)
This cute Polished Pink Spruced Up diecut tree embossed with the Gingham folder and attached to a black scalloped Layering Circle diecut just screamed out for a Wobbler (spring) that I found on Amazon.
Just in case you want to save a photo on Pinterest with both inside and outside of this card, here you go!

In my opinion, the Silver Specialty Foil pack only has one sheet of silver and the other 2 sheets are purplish. LOVE THEM! These sheets are truly elegant, luscious and rich when embossed with the Wintry & Quatrefoil Tile folders as you see in this photo. Adding fussy cut snowflakes from the Snowflake Specialty Vellum and repeating the outside panels also on the inside, plus adding some Deckled Rectangle vellum and embossed greetings really elevate the card, right?
