Stampin’ Up!® Potions & Spells Bundle: CWK Card #4

You’ll love my previous post with fun pics from the Potions Party on August 24th here at this link! Once you fall in love with all the cards and decide to make them yourself, you can find individual blog posts for each card/project.

• Most of the time spent making this card is coloring with blends and using blending brushes to make the backgrounds, so if you enjoy that it will be FUN! 
• NOTE: it will probably take 2-3 hours to make the card, but it’s worth it for the WOW factor!

TIP: Make sure to let your Memento ink dry totally before using blending brushes or Stampin’ Blends to color in the backgrounds or images.  

Who knew you could get such deep, intense colors using blending brushes?! It just takes some layering and pressure.

Measurements:

• Pumpkin Pie cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″; 2 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ for inside panel with broom; 1 5/8″ x 4 3/8″ for mechanism; and scrap for bottle
• Gorgeous Grape cardstock: 3″ x 8 1/2″, scored parallel to short side at 1/2″, 3 1/2″, 4″, 4 1/4″, 7 1/2″ and 8″, then scored parallel to long side 1/2″ up from the bottom, then marked at 2 3/8″ from top and from bottom, then scored diagonally from the top mark to the bottom of the 3 7/8″ score and again diagonally from the bottom mark up to the top of the 3 7/8″ score (see photo and video); plus scraps for bottle and inside of second bottle; plus optional 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ stripe on top flap; plus scrap for inside of bottle
• Granny Apple Green cardstock : 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ for cat’s square, plus scraps for 2 slime diecuts and inside for a bottle
• Crushed Curry cardstock: 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ for crow’s square; plus scraps for bottle, broom
• Pecan Pie cardstock: scraps for broomstick (x2 if you want to use part of one under the cat…otherwise you can just color with Pecan Pie marker or Blend) and branch for crow
• Basic White cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ ish (x 2) to diecut 3 circles, cat, crow, cauldron and books; 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ for left inside layer;  2 1/8″ x 5 1/4″ for middle inside layer; 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ for right inside layer; scraps to stamp and diecut cat, crow, cauldron and books
