Stampin’ Up!® Flight & Airy DSP with Lemon Lolly Trio of cards

Lemon Lolly Stripe card

I love combining DSP from different packs to get the look I want. Don’t you?  This Lemon Lolly stripe from the Bright and Beautiful DSP pack is just the right touch with the Flight & Airy birds. Using a blending brush on the background turns it into sky behind the cute birds and softly repeats their colors.

On the inside I used a blending brush to add a little blue “sky” on the white layer, then fussycut another coordinating bird from the Flight & Airy DSP. 

Measurements:

• Lemon Lolly cardstock base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 ¼”; and 3″ x 5 1/4″
• Bright & Beautiful DSP Lemon Lolly stripe: 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
• Flight & Airy DSP: Fussycut the 2 birds
• Lemon ribbon from Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack: 7 1/2″ piece for layer, then 3 1/2″ for knot (I tried doing it all in one piece and it got a little sloppy as the photo shows….)

Instructions:

• Cut, score, diecut and stamp as noted in measurements, pictured here and shown on my video linked below.
• Add embellishments as desired.

Flight & Airy Lemon Lolly Banner card

I’m using this simple card design for an upcoming beginner class and a stamp-a-stack since it is easy, but colorful and can be used for so many different occasions.

Measurements:

• Boho Blue cardstock base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 ¼”; and 3″ x 5 1/4″
• Lemon Lolly cardstock: 2 1/8″ x 2″ ish to diecut with Nested Essentials die
• Vellum cardstock: 3 1/4″ x 2 3/8″ ish to diecut with Nested Essentials die
• Flight & Airy DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″ plus strip or bird/branch for inside if desired
• Linen thread:
• Glossy Dots or Adhesive Backed Solid Gems as desired

Instructions:

• Cut, score, diecut and stamp as noted in measurements, pictured here and shown on my video linked below.

Lemon Lolly Deckled Circle card

These birds look so peaceful and restful, right?  The soft subtle colors work well together. I think it could be a sympathy card or “thinking of you” card or whatever. I decided to use the outside frame that remained  after I diecut out the inside (for another card) with a Perennial Postage die. 

Measurements:

• Lemon Lolly cardstock base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 ¼”; and 3″ x 5 1/4″
