Kylie’s International Blog Highlights May 2022 – Tea Boutique Suite

I hope we all have those friends (like I do) who always give and give.  Encouraging them to take care of themselves and take some time for a cup of tea (or wine…wink, wink!) with a friend is a great way to thank them for all they do!

• My card measurements and product list will be below the following International Blog Highlights information.

When the card is folded flat it fits perfectly into a regular A2 sized envelope. It just teases you with a bit of teapots on the sides before it opens to show rows of them. Fun!

Here’s a peek at the panel on the back where you can write your message of thanks. (You could add panels on the sides in addition to the middle panel.) WOW…the Parakeet Party is such a vivid color the camera can barely pick it up! 

Measurements:

• Starry Sky cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2”, scored at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″, 6 1/2″
• Tahitian Tide cardstock: 3″ ish to cut down with the Stylish Shapes square to 2 7/8″
• Basic white cardstock: 2 1/2″ ish to cut down with the Stylish Shapes square to 2 3/8″; 2″ x 5 1/2″ for back.
• Tea Boutique DSP: 1 ½” x 5 ½” (x 2) specific teapot sheets per photo, plus individual Starry Sky teapot fussy cut from a different sheet of DSP (per photo)
• In Color 2022-24 DSP: 2″ x 5 1/2″ and 1/2″ x 2″ Sweet Sorbet Stripe

Instructions:

• Score card base per above.
• Cut DSP so the entire teapots show. You’ll get four 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strips (enough for 2 cards) per page.
• Cut 2″ x 6″ strip of Striped In Color DSP, then cut off 1/2″ x 2″ to adhere on the back white strip.
• Adhere all strips (as shown) to scored card base.
• Diecut both squares from Stylish Shapes.
• Emboss the Tahitian tide square with the Painted Texture Folder and adhere with Dimensionals to the striped DSP
• Stamp sentiment and leaves on Basic White square and adhere to Tahitian Tide square with Dimensionals.
• Stamp sentiment and leaves on White strip and adhere to card stock after adding the strip of striped DSP.
• Fussy cut teapot from different DSP page, then pop up with dimensionals in the center to adhere on top of square layers. Add Wink of Stella to the teapot to make it shiny.
• Add pearls as desired.

I’ll also be adding blog posts/instructions for these two additional cards from the Tea Boutique Suite that I created using this same basic design…just slightly different measurements.
