Hand-Penned Memories and More Cards: Set of 16
- I LOVE a challenge! I challenged myself to create lovely combinations of every card in the Hand Penned Memories and More card pack to complete a full set of cards for a recent Stamp-a-stack plus a few for a Make & Take for my Papercrafting Playday on May 15. I succeeded! (I just have one card and some stickers remaining that I’ll post on a separate card soon….my event got here before I totally finished!)
- I’m pleased with the results and so were the members of my Create With Kelley Crew who attended the event or bought a kit to go. FUN!
- I’ll post individual cards in separate blog posts but I wanted to give you an overview of the possibilities! You can skip some of the additional products I used or substitute what you have. I didn’t have enough gems or jewels for all the cards for everyone so I didn’t skipped them, but I’d recommend adding some!
- In addition to HALF a pack of the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack I added a partial pack of Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (patterned), a partial pack of Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (white), a couple of our Basic White Medium Envelopes, plus just a few coordinating card stocks ribbon, etc.
- As you can see in the photo above, I used some of the patterned card bases separate from the patterned envelopes in order to make sure the images on the card coordinated at least a little with the patterns and colors on the envelope. If it didn’t coordinate I substituted white ones instead. The smaller 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ cards shown (#14, 15, 16) and envelopes (not shown) are the notecard size from the assorted envelope pack.
- In order to limit the Stamp-a-Stack class featuring ELEVEN 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ cards to about 3 hours, we did very little stamping except for adding some finishing touches on the inside of cards and on the plain white envelopes.
-
We did lots of fussy cutting and used images from the reverse side of the remaining pieces on several cards. I flipped images around and used lots of other tricks to make sure we made the most of the set of cards. If you love the cards and want to make a set of your own, I’ll have a PDF and/or video tutorials soon to show you how I combined the cards, what images to fussy cut out and set aside for that card or a different card. It’s kinda tricky on a few of them but it really maximizes the card pack! I’ll post basic instructions on individual card posts. Please shop my online store for the products below.
