CWK Alternative card 6 of 8 for Paper Pumpkin Sweet Sunflowers August 2022

#6 Measurements:

• Kit honeycomb piece after center has been cut out to use on other cards
• Kit Mossy Meadow card base cut down to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
• Early Espresso card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″; plus 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ ish to cut down with Deckled Rectangle die
• Basic White 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ ish to diecut with Deckled Rectangle or Stitched Rectangle or Scalloped Contours die; plus 4″ x 2 1/2″ ish to cut down with Deckled Rectangle die
• Ribbon: 17″ ish

#6 Instructions:

• Cut the center out of a gold foil sheet (leaving enough for 3 rows to show behind the Espresso piece) to use on other cards.
• Cut out the center of the kit Mossy card base if desired to use for other cards.
• Stamp the sunflower in Crushed Curry, twist it and stamp again without reinking. (Outside and inside the card.)
• Repeat the process with the center of the flower stamped in Early Espresso. (Outside and inside the card.)
• Color in the sunflower with Daffodil Delight watercolor pencil and add some Espresso watercolor pencil in the center, and blend them with a Blender pen.
• Stamp greeting in Espresso, wrap ribbon around white front piece and add embellishments.
• Mount the Espresso piece with Dimensionals to cover the center of the gold foil.

Notes about all 8 alternatives:

• It seems EVERYBODY LOVED THIS KIT and wishes we had refills!
• I was truly inspired to create several alternatives since it was so easy to double/triple/quadruple the kit by cutting  all 9 card fronts in half and using the fronts and backs separately.
• I also cut up all the envelopes and made multiple cards using those pieces as focal points on additional card bases from my Stampin’ Up! stash.
