Artistry Blooms & Pierced Blooms Flap Fold
Thanks to Jann McCollom from My Stamping Table for showing us this fun flap fold card during a Mystery Stamping event on March 8th.
Stampin’ Up! colors coordinate so well with each other and complement so many different stamp sets and dies from multiple catalogs. This cheery card combines products from the JJ 21 and AC 20-21 catalogs. This template will work with lots of different combinations you may already have on hand, but if you love the card as is, please shop my online store for the products below.
Measurements:
- Night of Navy cardstock: 5 ½” x 7 ¼”, scored at 4 ¼”
- Night of Navy cardstock: 2 ¾” x 4 ¼”, scored at ½” from the short end (at the 4″ mark).
- Light color DSP for inside 4” x 5 ¼”
- Second coordinating DSP: 2 ¾” x 5 ¼”
- Third coordinating DSP: 2 ½” x 3 ½”
- Coastal Cabana cardstock scrap to die cut for greeting layer and flowers.
- Pool Party cardstock scraps to die cut for flowers.
- Granny Apple Green cardstock scraps to die cut for leaves.
- Basic white cardstock scraps for greeting and flowers.
Instructions:
- Die cut an assortment of flowers and leaves with the Pierced Blooms dies (or other dies or punches of your choice).
- Die cut greeting layer and extra layer from Stitched So Sweetly dies (or other dies or punches of your choice).
- Fold the Navy 1/2″ flap back and add Tear and Tape or liquid glue to it, then adhere the flap lined up with the right side of the card base toward the middle.
- Stamp greeting in Night of Navy ink onto diecut piece and adhere to flap with Dimensionals..
- Adhere DSP to card base and flap per photo. Add diecuts and embellishments as desired with Dimensionals and glue dots for a layered look.
