Stampin’ Up!® Flight & Airy DSP: Pecan Pie & Garden Green trio

Instead of separate blog posts for each card I’m combining some of the 13+ cards I’ve created with this Flight & Airy DSP series. This trio of cards features Garden Green and Pecan Pie. Card photos, measurements and supply lists are below. Let me know if you have any questions. Plus:

Perennial Postage with Green Banner
Easy, richly-colored card that fits most occasions.
Measurements:
- Pecan Pie cardstock base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”, then diecut with largest Perennial Postage die
- Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 ¼”, then diecut with largest Perennial Postage die for inside
- Garden Green cardstock: 2″ x 3″ ish, then diecut with Nested Essentials banner
- Flight & Airy DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″ plus another scrap/section to fussycut a bird from for inside
Instructions:
- Cut, score, diecut and stamp as noted in measurements, pictured here and shown on my video linked below.
- Use craft ink and white embossing powder for the greeting on the banner.
- Add embellishments as desired.

Something Fancy Dies Trio
This card has a few steps but it’s worth the effort in the end! HINT: I penciled in the dies around each bird so I would be able to cut the DSP in sections to go through the SCEM. Then I just erased the pencil after I diecut them all out. .
Measurements:
- Crumb Cake cardstock base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”; and 4″ x 5 1/4″and a 1″ x 5 1/4″ piece (for inside) that are texture embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder
- Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 ¼”; and 1 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ ish or scrap to cut with Something Fancy die
- Garden Green cardstock: 2″ x 3″ ish (x 3) to diecut with Something Fancy die
- Flight & Airy DSP: 3 birds diecut out with Something Fancy dies as shown for front plus some scrap flowers fussycut from the DSP forthe inside if desired
- Pecan Pie Bordered Ribbon: 3 strips 6″ each
- SAB Opaque Faceted Gems
Instructions:
- Cut, score, diecut and stamp as noted in measurements, pictured here and shown on my video linked below. (I stamped a So Sincere greeting in Calypso Coral.)
- Add embellishments as desired.

Something Fancy Dies Duo
This is such an easy design to create once you diecut all the birds on the DSP sheet with the Something Fancy dies. HINT: I penciled in the dies around each bird so I would be able to cut the DSP in sections to go through the SCEM. Then I just erased the pencil after I diecut them all out. Easy.
Measurements:
- Crumb Cake cardstock base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” then texture embossed with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing folder
- Basic White cardstock: 4″ x 5 ¼;
- Garden Green cardstock: 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ ish (x2) to diecut with Something Fancy die
- Flight & Airy DSP: 2 birds to diecut with Something Fancy die; plus scrap or extra bird/branch for inside if desired; plus strip of Pecan Pie DSP pattern 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Linen thread: 4 pieces 9″ each to tie 2 double bows to attach with glue dots
- Iridescent Adhesive Backed Solid Gems as desired
Instructions:
- Cut, score, diecut and stamp as noted in measurements, pictured here and shown on my video linked below.
- Add embellishments as desired.
