Paper Pumpkin Peeps enjoy trying alternatives with their monthly kits, so some of my local subscribers come over each month to create alternatives. (Or we did before social distancing…) Hopefully you soon-to-be-fans of my blog will enjoy my alternatives too! (Please subscribe!)
This month’s Lovely Day kit was filled with beautiful card bases, envelopes and elements to play with. Don’t you love the gorgeous rose gold foam greetings? I’m usually really a BRIGHT girl, but I loved the softness of this Petal Pink card base, ink and ribbon with a small piece of Rococo Rose peeking out behind the scalloped flower panel from the kit. The Happy Birthday To You coordinating stamp set paired perfectly with the kit stamp set.
The kit sequins’ soft pink sparkle plus a little Wink of Stella added subtle but simple shine.
The corners of the inside card panel were punched with a retired trio punch, but the current Detailed Trio Punch will give you the same beautiful effect. On the inside panel, I stamped the top half of the small flower image with Rococo Rose and the bottom half in Pear Pizzazz (without contaminating either ink pad I might add), huffed to re-moisten the stamp…and another simple Lovely Day alternative was complete. I’ll spare you more details since it’s just a simple Paper Pumpkin alternative, but I’m happy to help if you contact me. You can pick up extra supplies to stretch your kit at my online store. Thanks!
