Stampin’ Up!® Potions & Spells Bundle: Treat Pouch

You’ll love my previous post with fun pics from the Potions Party on August 24th here at this link! Once you fall in love with all the cards and decide to make them yourself, you can find individual blog posts for each card/project.

 

• This has to be the easiest treat pouch ever!  I used last year’s Halloween DSP since Stampin’ Up! had not released their new Halloween DSP in the new Scrapbooking brochure that just went live Sept. 4th, but it would be SO CUTE for these pouches!
• Use ANY 6″ x 6″ DSP for ANY season/holiday, then mark your paper at 3″ on all 4 sides, score from each mark to the next mark diagonally across. Do that 3 times on different corners, fold in and you’ll have this pouch. If you want to fold over the top flap, go ahead and score the remaining triangle. Just tape the 3 sides together where they all connect and add your embellishment/greeting over it.

• TIP: Lay out the dies on top of the cardstock to size it, then diecut your word.
• TIP: Save the letters to use on another project (like I added the BOO onto the cauldron on our necklaces in the photo below) but make sure to keep the inside of the letters to use for this treat pouch.
• Adhere card stock negative onto a little larger piece of coordinating DSP.
• Choose whether you want to add Dimensionals behind the inside of the letters and adhere the negative piece flat as in the photo above, or whether you want to pop up the negative space and adhere the inside of the letters flat like the pouch below.
