Stampin’ Up! 23 Sale-a-bration Dainty Flowers DSP: Fresh Freesia Front Flap Fun Fold

It was fun to choose card stock to bring out the colors in each of the 4 sections of this sheet (that’s repeated top and bottom of the sheet so you get 8 total card fronts out of one 12″ x 12″ sheet) of Dainty Flowers DSP. I chose Starry Sky for 2 and Fresh Freesia for 2. 

Just a little strip of a coordinating sheet of DSP brings the outside of the card in. Love how this Covered in Sunshine sentiment pairs with the wildflowers!

This sentiment from Sending Support shows a friend or family member how much you care. 

This “HERE FOR YOU….ALWAYS” sentiment from Sending Support would be so meaningful when received by a friend or family member. 

Measurements:

• Fresh Freesia cardstock base: 4 1/4″ x 11”, scored at 5 1/2”, then slit from top to score at 1/2″ in from each side; 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ ish, punched one end and cut on other end or 1″ x 4″ ish to fit greeting of choice
• Basic White cardstock: 2 7/8″ x 5 1/2″; plus either a 1/2″ ish strip x 4″ ish  or a 1″ ish x 4″ ish (to be stamped and diecut with Charming Sentiments) based on sentiment of choice
• Dainty Flowers DSP Freesia dot pattern: 3/4″ x 5 ½” (x2)
• Dainty Flowers DSP sections featuring several Freesia/Razzleberry flowers (per photos) 3″ x 5 1/4″
• Dainty Flowers DSP wildflowers small strip 3/4″ x 2 7/8″ for inside

Instructions:

• After slitting card stock, snip off both side flaps at the score line, leaving one large center flap.
• If you don’t want your baker’s twine showing inside the card, wrap and tie the bow around the watercolor floral layer before adhering it to the Starry Sky flap. If you do want it to show, adhere layer then wrap and tie bow. 
• If you choose a sentiment from Charming Sentiments, stamp it on white cardstock, then diecut it. Cut Rich Razzleberry layer to size and attach white layer with Dimensionals.
• If you choose a sentiment without a coordinating die, just stamp it on a small scrap strip. Punch one end of the Rich Razzleberry layer and cut the other end sized for your white layer. (Doing both ends of both pieces is more difficult to get exactly right, but you can do it if you practice. Punch one end, stamp the greeting, leave an extra 1/2″ or so, then punch the other end.) Adhere layers together with Dimensionals and attach flat to the card or with Dimensionals.
