Most Wonderful Time: Horizontal Triple Flap Fun Fold Card

I’ve tried this fun fold with multiple papers and themes over the years, but I love this combination of the “Most Wonderful Time Product Medley” DSP and the stamps from “For Unto Us.”  The gold foil and embossing really add the elegance the card deserves, don’t you think?

Tip 1: Remember to only glue the proper half of each flap…otherwise you glue the card together.  (Ooops.)

Tip 2: You can diecut the three gold diecuts (and extras) out of the middle of the gold foil flap pieces. Just be careful to leave room for the border that shows, and be sure to use only the portion of the flap that will be glued down.

On the inside, since the back of the gold foil is white and doesn’t exactly match the Whisper White layer, I decided it needed a bit of pizzazz. So I cut three of the smallest Stitched So Sweetly die and embossed them with the Subtles folder….fit for a King!

Measurements:

• Old Olive card stock base:  5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″ in from each end
• Whisper white: 4 3/8 x 3 1/4″ (inside) and 3 3/4″ x 2 5/8″ greeting flap then both cut out with Stitched So Sweetly dies
• Gold foil: 4 x 1 5/8″ (3 pieces) and 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
• Most Wonderful Time DSP: 3 3/4″ x 1 3/8″ (x 3 designs for flaps)  2 x 5 3/8″ (x 2 designs inside)
